Amazing! I had the bolognese with penne which they asked me what pasta I would like but it tasted more like a chili but has been 100% better than most mbale restaurants/ hotels I’ve had dinner at, the staff where amazing! Would definitely come back!!

Such a great atmosphere! I loved sitting in and enjoying a cold milkshake while taking in the beautiful paintings and friendly service. I’m from Sydney, Australia and really appreciated being able to pay easily with phone tap pay. Just an all round great spot to relax with friends. I’ll definitely come again before heading back home! Great Gem in Mbale!

The food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from, The service was friendly and attentive, but sometimes it took a while for orders to arrive and atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, with pleasant decor and background music, the washroom weren’t with par with the standard. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service was slow, and the washrooms left a lot to be desired. If the restaurant wants to improve its rating, it should focus on improving its overall service.

A cute and sophisticated place in Mbale! Great for tourists. The milkshake was actually FIRE! Unfortunately, my sandwich not so much - the bread fell apart completely. That being said, I am confident that they have menu items that are better. Of course getting a club sandwich in Uganda isn’t going to be diner quality. Overall - if you’re visiting Mbale I think this is a top spot in town for dinner. Great menu selection and close to everything.

Loved my first experience with the place... Came in first day of the year..., Very early on a Sunday morning, around 7am, and while the rest of the city was still asleep from the new year festivities, they were up and running.. great Had a lovely breakfast here; well done chef, at pocket friendly rate.. Will be back for sure

Very cute little cafe in the heart of Mbale. Wait staff is friendly. They get confused when you try to personalize your order so it’s better to stick to the menu as much as possible. Our food took thirty minutes (4 breakfast orders) before we were served hence the 4 stars rather than 5. Food is very good, high quality. Portions are (Ugandan size) small.
